Special Features of Protestant Chapel in Venice
The Waldesian Church in Venice is housed in an 18th-Century Venetian Palace, a palace mentioned by Marin Sanudo in his “Journals” in 1525, as the residence of one branch of the Morosini, a Venetian noble family. The Palace was purchased in 1868 for ”use by the Church, and for what else may be necessary for the Waldesian worship in Venice”
The church is small and intimate but can still hold at least 50 guests. There is an organ or you can choose to bring your favourite CD. The main gate is reached via a bridge and the first view is very charming indeed. A small courtyard leads into a very traditional Venetian palazzo where the ceremony is held.
