Umbria's Capital rises up on a hill enjoying spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Perugia's main Duomo (church) dominates the Piazza IV Novembre and the nearby Palazzo dei Priori built in 1293 was for years the official town hall. Civil weddings in this elegant city are held in a superb Palazzo right on the main piazza; complete with frescoed walls, woodcarvings and marquetry. It is undoubtedly one of the finest wedding halls in Umbria.
