Rising above the rolling hills of the Chianti Classico region of Tuscany, the Castello enjoys a superb, panoramic location. A winding road lined by cypress trees will lead you to one of our favorite wedding castles in the region. Its origins date back to the 1200's and it belonged to the Benedictine Monks of the Abbey of Coltibuono. It was further built up during the Renaissance and the present owners have completely and lovingly restored it.
Celebrating a wedding in this magnificent Medieval castle will create memories to last a lifetime. The organized staff will attend to your every wish. Since the castle produces some very fine wines, it is possible to incorporate into your wedding event an elegant wine tasting tour in the old cellars completely lit by candlelight. The evening will reach a breathtaking climax in the Coat of Arms Hall as flower petals cascading from the balcony above greet arriving guests!
Medieval or Renaissance wedding receptions are possible here as well as any type of wedding music option.
