Special Features
This beautiful Villa is surrounded by a huge park with majestic trees - an ideal setting for a unique outdoor reception. The villa houses up to 26 guests in guest houses and suites. All are different and unique. The villa dates from the 17th century. There is a greenhouse for informal buffet breakfasts with wonderful views, a pool and pool garden that is superb for drinks and relaxation, plus the front portion of the villa. There are wonderful cellars with walls 2 foot thick of stone for a dinner and dancing plus the vine covered loggia. Medieval hill towns are all around.
It is owned by a Count and Countess. .
For Catholic Weddings: a beautiful 18th century church within walking distance of the villa.
Civil Weddings: two of the most magnificent wedding halls in the region if not the country for small or very large weddings (one holds over 200).
Rooms are $55 per person. This is inclusive of a huge buffet breakfast that includes local cheeses, cured meats, eggs, cereals and everything else. For late risers it is more of a brunch allowing people to even skip lunch if necessary.
While you are at the villa it is your own home. The park, pool, gardens and rooms/apartments are yours to use.
There is a property manager on site to assist you throughout the stay who speaks English.
Within walking distance, about 5 minutes from the Villa there is a famous wine tasting restaurant with inside garden. You could have the rehearsal here if you wish or pop down for dinner during your stay. Wine selection is amazing and best of all available by the glass. They serve local cheeses and cured meats and a hot dish of the day as well as salad etc… There is a piano in the restaurant and if you want us to hire a pianist for you one evening we certainly can.
